Mark Glassman, Esq.

Experience, Integrity & Resolve

Broward Personal Injury Lawyer Mark Glassman

Whether coaching soccer in Davie, judging a debate tournament at Western High School, delivering meals for the local food pantry in Lauderhill, or just watching football with friends at Legend’s Tavern in Plantation; Mark Glassman has been very involved in the West Broward Community for more than 30 years. He graduated from North Miami Beach High School back in the 1980s and attended college at the University of Florida. Mark received his law degree from Florida State University while working for the Lt. Governor of Florida and the Florida Department of Professional Regulation. After graduating from the FSU College of Law in 1994, Mark returned to South Florida to work for the local community. As a young attorney, Mark was part of a highly respected boutique law firm in downtown Fort Lauderdale and represented local entities including the Broward Sherriff’s Office and the South Broward Hospital District. Also, Mark spent the first 5 years of his legal career working for the insurance companies he now sues on behalf of his injured clients.

One of the most important lessons Mark learned as a young attorney is that:

“Size of the firm does not matter, service to your clients is what truly matters!”
Broward Personal Injury Lawyer

Mark left behind the large law firm mentality when he resigned from the Las Olas firm to start his own local, community-based practice representing the people of Broward County. With no corporate clients, Mark opened his first law office in Pembroke Pines back in 1998. With grit and determination, Mark built a practice based on the principles of “EXPERIENCE, INTEGRITY & RESOLVE.” Mark grew his practice at the western edge of Broward County with offices in Pembroke Pines and Weston with a focus on personal injury cases. As Mark’s practice grew, he brought on partners and continued to focus on automobile negligence claims, medical and dental malpractice, and pharmaceutical cases. Mark has been involved in notable cases against the Cleveland Clinic, West Side Regional Hospital, Plantation General Hospital and Memorial Hospital.

When it comes to automobile accident cases, Mark has seen it all. As a defense attorney many years ago, Mark was involved in representing one of the companies that constructed I-595. Since switching to only representing Plaintiffs, Mark has successfully litigated virtually every type of automobile accident case. Mark represented the family of a teen who was injured by a “wrong-way driver” on I-75. He represented a prominent physician who was hit by a truck while riding his bicycle along Griffin Road. He has pursued many wrongful death claims, including one on behalf of the children of a single mom who was killed while waiting in line to pay at a toll plaza. Mark took on a case involving a motorcycle rider who was the victim of a hit-and-run on Broward Boulevard. He has sued on behalf of victims of road rage on I-595. He represented a jogger who was run down in a crosswalk in Weston. Mark knows the local neighborhoods because he, his wife and teenage kids drive the streets of West Broward every day. If you hire an attorney from Orlando, Tampa or Miami; they will not understand the idiosyncrasies and challenges of local traffic patterns and hazards. In 2014, Mark relocated his practice to the center of Broward County – Plantation. His office is now conveniently located in the Masa Global building at the corner of I-595 and Pine Island Road.

Over the years, Mark has earned many legal awards and accolades. Mark has been awarded an AV Preeminent rating by Martindale Hubbell. Being AV rated means that Mark has been recognized by his legal peers as having the highest levels of integrity and legal skill. Additionally, Mark has been repeatedly awarded “Super Lawyer” and “Legal Elite” status, and he has maintained a “Superb” rating with Avvo. In addition to being a member of the Florida Bar since 1994, Mark is an active member of the Broward Bar Association and the Broward Trial Lawyers Association. Mark is admitted to practice law in all Florida State Courts and in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
